A journey into the self-stylings of Baltimore’s Black queer artists and activists, Damn Y’all Fine explores how living in Baltimore influences the way Black queer folx express their gender and sexual identities.

This project is inspired by Ti Malik’s current gender identity journey. As he navigates Baltimore’s Black queer community, Ti Malik is constantly inspired and often in awe of the ways our community members show up as their full selves, even in spaces that are contested and sometimes dangerous. Through this documentary, Ti Malik examines what it feels like to navigate identity in a town that has not always been a welcoming place for Black queer people but has still played a significant role in this nation’s LGBTQ history.
